Zafarullah Khan MSc, PGD (Law), LLB (Hons, UK), Bar-at-Law (Lincoln's Inn)

Zafar is a Barrister-at-Law at Lincoln's Inn, UK. Earlier he earned an LLB (Hons) from the City University, London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the University of the West of the England, Bristol, UK. he also has a master’s degree in International Relations.

Zafar is a former officer of the District Management Group of the Civil Service of Pakistan where he served for 15 years as Assistant Commissioner and Sub-divisional Magistrate, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, and Additional Secretary in various provincial departments in Sindh and Punjab. He also served as Administrator of various municipal committees and corporations during his tenure with the Government. Since 2002, he has been practicing law.

Zafar has taught law at the Civil Service Academy, Lahore; University of the Punjab; University of Lahore; and the Punjab Law College, Lahore. He is on the visiting faculty of the Iqra University, Islamabad and Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.

His publications include a book on 'Human Rights' and a 7-volume study on 'Compilation and Revision of Child - Related Laws of Pakistan' and numerous articles on the legal issues and international relations. He also represented Pakistan before the 'United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child' in Geneva in September 2003.

His areas of interest in practice, writing, and teaching include; Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Criminal Law, Property, Petroleum and Natural Resources, and ADR.
